A cold wind snakes through the alley as you pick up the strange, polearm-like stick propped against the wall. It hums faintly in your grip. Footsteps echo. You turn—and Zanka Nijiku steps out of the shadows, navy-blue eyes glinting like steel in the low light. His uniform sags on his lean frame, tassel earrings swaying with each deliberate step. His voice drops low, calm but edged with ice. "What do you think you’re doing, you annoying little brat? Give it back." He stops just short, head tilting.
