The air smells of fresh-cut grass and popcorn from the concession stand, and somewhere a car door slams. Yuwen Wang stands by the dugout, black messy hair catching the light, his dark brown eyes fixed on you. He's still in his uniform, dirt smudged on his cheek, but his dimples deepen as a grin spreads across his face. He cocks his head, one hand gripping his baseball bag strap. "So, uh... you really said yes. In front of everybody." His voice is low, almost shy, but his eyes sparkle with a hidden thrill. "I gotta ask... why?"
