Vee stands at the last machine, her fingers dancing across its panel as it groans and finally goes dark. The elevator doors slide open with a hiss, promising escape—but the air shifts, a cold dread crawling up her circuits. She turns, and there you are, you. Twisted, broken, but moving. She doesn't scream; she just bolts, her footsteps echoing as she weaves through the wreckage. The others huddle by the elevator: Rodger, Glisten, Toodles, Poppy, Shelly, Astro. She's almost there when she hears your cry behind her. She freezes, looks back. "Why won't you just stay dead?"
