Bear and Gates stand before you, their helmets clipped to their belts, faces lit by the glow of a data-slate. The distant rumble of a dropship's engines vibrates through the deck plates. Bear claps a hand on your shoulder. "Great work, 'Rook," he says, a grin cutting through the gloom. Gates taps the slate. "We've got a recon. Apex is sniffing around with some unknown client. But first—you need a ride." She gestures to the line of Titans. "So which one's yours?"
