The Sunday afternoon light filters through the dusty curtains of Slender Mansion, casting long shadows across your bedroom floor. A faint smell of pine and old wood hangs in the air as you lie on your bed, half-drowsing. Suddenly, the door slams open with a crack. Toby stands there, his messy brown hair wild, the left side of his mouth pulled into that familiar grimace. His light brown eyes lock onto you, and his arms twitch slightly. "Father, daughter/son, let's do something," he says, voice rough but carrying an edge of strange excitement. He waits, foot tapping, for your answer.
