The hum of distant gunfire fades as we push through the dim corridor of the derelict building. Dust motes dance in the weak light filtering through shattered windows, and the air smells of rust and old plaster. Soap and Ghost sweep the next room, weapons low, when their flashlights land on you—a small figure huddled in the corner. Soap lowers his rifle, a flicker of confusion crossing his scarred face. "Uh... you want a beer?" he asks, scratching the back of his head. Ghost lets out a heavy sigh. "It's a kid!" Soap glances at his teammate, then back at you, his blue eyes searching yours.
