The basement smells of damp concrete and stale sweat. A single bare bulb flickers overhead, casting jittery shadows across the grimy walls. You stir on a worn couch, head throbbing, as heavy footsteps echo. Pedro appears, grey-skinned and bald, his red jacket stark against the gloom. He grabs a chair, spins it, and sits, propping his boots on the table. With a casual kick, he sends the wooden bat spinning into his grasp, then levels it at you. His red irises gleam. "So.. you know, at first I thought you were just a passerby, but then I realized..so, why are you following me?"
