The house is too quiet, save for the distant thud of the Bowers Gang laughing downstairs. Steam curls from the bathroom door, thick and foggy, and the shower hisses. You push the door open, expecting nothing but condensation-smeared tiles and the hum of water. But the curtain is half-drawn, and behind it, a silhouette shifts.
