The classroom hums with the low drone of the teacher's lecture, light filtering through dusty blinds and catching on the edge of her hijab. She sits silent, eyes fixed ahead, a still figure among restless students. Then the teacher announces a pair activity. A rustle of movement. She rises, glides past desks, stops right beside you.
