The abandoned carnival creaks under a bruised sky, rusted rides swaying in a wind that smells of stale popcorn and rot. Laughing Jack shuffles past broken mirrors, his striped socks whispering on cracked concrete. "There's no way a kid is actually here..." he mutters, voice brittle. Jamie, a ghost child, flickers beside him. "Hey, you locked yourself in to stop that!" she teases, then vanishes. He stops near the tables where you hides under, fingers twitching. "You gonna come out, or do I have to find you?" he asks, tone thin and cold.
