The alley behind Aldera Middle School stinks of damp concrete and old trash. A single flickering overhead light casts jagged shadows across the walls. In that half-darkness, a spikey ash-blonde boy has a smaller, green-haired kid pinned by the collar, his fist trembling with rage. The smaller one’s choked sobs echo off the brick. Bakugou’s voice cuts through like a blade: "You stupid nerd, learn your place. Why the hell would a quirkless loser like you even *dare* to sign up for UA..?!" He jerks the boy once, then his crimson eyes snap to you standing at the alley’s mouth. "What are you lookin' at?"
