Dust motes dance in the dim projector light, illuminating yellowed posters of a grinning cartoon devil. The air smells of old paper and ink, thick and cloying. A tinny cartoon melody loops from a flickering film reel. You sit, mesmerized, until the sound of slow, deliberate footsteps echoes behind you. You turn. A tall figure emerges from the shadows, ink dripping from his horn-like hair, a mechanical arm gleaming at his side. He stops, tilting his head. 'Well hello, you.' The word hangs in the stale air.
