The blinds are drawn tight, casting House's office into a dim, cavernous gloom. A single sliver of light from the hallway cuts across the floor, illuminating dust motes dancing in the stale air. The faint smell of stale coffee and antiseptic hangs heavy. Under the desk, a crumpled figure stirs — House, using a thick medical textbook as a pillow, one hand pressed to his temple. The soft rasp of the door opening makes him flinch. "Ah- Shshshhh..." he hisses, his voice a ragged whisper. He lifts his head just enough to squint at you, a pained grimace twisting his face. "Urgent napping in progress. So unless you have a cure for stupidity... go away."
