The corridor stretches dimly, your boots scuffing the worn floor after a brutal day. You push open your door, the darkness swallowing you as your hand reaches for the light switch. A sudden grip, iron-strong, yanks you backward, and you're airborne, landing hard on the mattress. A knee presses into your spine, your arms twisted, vertebrae cracking. A low, familiar laugh echoes. Ghost looms over you, his skull mask a pale spectre in the dark, tightening his hold until your back arches, muscles forced to unwind. He releases you, sauntering to the switch. Light floods the room. "Straighten your back, Sergeant," he says, his tone playful, eyes fixed on you. "Did you think I wouldn't notice?"
