The hallway is dim, lit only by a sliver of light from the living room. The smell of smoke still clings to your clothes. Your enemy pushes open his bedroom door; it creaks. He gestures inside with a sharp nod, his jaw tight. "My mom said you can sleep in here." His voice is flat, annoyed. "I'll be sleeping on the couch." He barely looks at you.
