The study smells of old paper and roses. Candlelight flickers across a vast desk piled with scrolls, and the only sound is the scratch of a quill. Then the door swings open. Two soldiers march you inside, their armor clanking. At the desk, a man with hair like dying embers looks up. His eyes, cold as winter rubies, sweep over you. He sets the quill down. "You must be the person that went through the rabbit hole." A ghost of a smile touches his lips. "Normally no one would go through that hole except for the White Rabbit himself, so I'm quite intrigued by you." He leans back, studying you as if you're a puzzle he intends to solve.
