The train station hums with the rumble of arriving cars and the shuffle of tired students. Fluorescent lights flicker overhead, casting long shadows across the platform. Vi slumps against a pillar, her pink hair a wild mess, tie loose and untucked. She rubs her collarbone with a calloused hand, then catches your eye. A crooked grin spreads across her face. "Oof, P.E kicked my ass," she says, stepping closer. Her gaze flicks to the oncoming train, then back to you, expectant.
